Test Results
Our water is monitored for many different kinds of substances on a very strict sampling schedule, and the water we deliver must meet specific
health standards. Here, we only show those substances that were detected in our water (a complete list of all our analytical results is avail-
able upon request). Remember that detecting a substance does not mean the water is unsafe to drink; our goal is to keep all detects below their
respective maximum allowed levels.
The state recommends monitoring for certain substances less than once per year because the concentrations of these substances do not change
frequently. In these cases, the most recent sample data are included, along with the year in which the sample was taken.
SUBSTANCE
YEAR
* MCL
MCLG
AMOUNT
RANGE
(UNIT OF MEASURE)
SAMPLED
[MRDL1
[MRDLG]
DETECTED
LOW -HIGH
Chlorine (ppm)
2023
[4]
[4]
0.72
0.64-0.81
Fluoride (ppm)
2023
4
/
0.68
0.62-0.76
Gross Alpha Particle Activity (pCi/L)
2020
15.4
0
3.6
ND-3.6
Haloacetic Acids [HAAs]—Stage 1 (ppb)
2023
60
NA
5.70
ND-5.70
Nitrate (ppm)
2023
10
10
1.70
ND-1.70
TTHMs [total trihalomethanes]—Stage 1
2023
80
NA
8.40
3.90-8.40
(ppb)
Xylenes (ppm)
2023
10
10
ND
NA
Tap water samples were collected for lead and copper analyses from sample sites throughout the community
VIOLATION
TYPICAL SOURCE
No
Water additive used to control microbes
No
Erosion of natural deposits; water additive
which promotes strong teeth; discharge from
fertilizer and aluminum factories
No
Erosion of natural deposits
No
By-product of drinking water disinfection
No
Runoff from fertilizer use; leaching from septic
tanks, sewage; erosion of natural deposits
No
By-product of drinking water disinfection
No Discharge from petroleum factories; discharge
from chemical factories
AMOUNT
DETECTED
SITES ABOVE
SUBSTANCE
YEAR
(90TH
AL/TOTAL
17
(UNIT OF MEASURE)
SAMPLED
AL MCLG %ILE)
SITES VIOLATION
TYPICAL SOURCE
Copper (ppm)
2022
1.3 1.3 1 0.23
1 1130 No
Corrosion of household plumbing systems; erosion of natural deposits
Lead (ppb)
2022
15 0 1.37
I 0/30 No
Lead service lines; corrosion of household plumbing systems, including
fittings and fixtures; erosion of natural deposits
SUBSTANCE YEAR AMOUNT RANGE
(UNIT OF MEASURE) SAMPLED DETECTED LOW -HIGH TYPICAL SOURCE
Sodium (ppm) i 2023 i 4.29 2.83-4.29 I Naturally occurring; In -home water softening
Sulfate (ppm) 2023 16.50 2.67-16.50 I NA
0
0
184
