<br />STATEMENT OF RESULT OF CANVASS <br />The following is the true statement of the result of the counting and canvass of votes by ballot at the <br />Annual Village Election of the Village of Elk River County of Sherburne and State of Minnesota, <br />held March 12, 1918, as proclaimed to voters by the Judges and Clerk of Election: <br /> <br />Charles F. Firman received 209 votes for President of Council <br />Charles F. Firman was declared elected President of Council <br /> <br />F.M. Plank for 1 year term received 209 votes for Trustee <br />E.E. Scott for 2 year term received 209 votes for Trustee <br />E.J. Keegan for 3 year term received 209 votes for Trustee <br />F.M Plank for 1 year term was declared elected Trustee <br />E.E. Scott for 2 year term was declared elected Trustee <br />Ed Keegan for 3 year term was declared elected Trustee <br /> <br />L.K. Houlton received 209 votes for Treasurer <br />L.K. Houlton was declared elected Treasurer <br /> <br />W.F. Chadbourne received 209 votes for Clerk <br />W.F. Chadbourne was declared elected Clerk <br /> <br />Frank Ebner received 209 votes for Assessor <br />Frank Ebner was declared elected Assessor <br /> <br />H.C. Hastings received 209 votes for Justice of the Peace <br />H.C. Hastings was declared elected Justice of the Peace <br />95 ballots were case for licensing the sale of intoxicating liquor <br />139 ballots were cast against the sale of intoxicating liquor <br />(no signatures) <br />Judges of Election <br />Attest: W.F.
