<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />July 15, 1919 <br /> <br />Special meeting of the Village Council was held at the Office of the Elk River Lumber Co on July <br />th <br />15, 1919. Meeting called to order at 8 P.M. <br /> <br />Present as follows. <br />John H. Virgin, President <br />Bert Carr, Trustee <br />Wm Norval, Clerk <br /> <br />This meeting was called for the purpose of paying the men who had worked in replanking the <br />thth <br />Mississippi Bridge No. 668 on the night of July 12 and on the morning of the 13 said work was <br />thth <br />commenced on July 12 at 7 P.M. and completed on the morning of July 13 at 8 A.M. the men <br />were paid at the rate of 75 cents per hour.
