<br />ELK RIVER COMMUNITY EVENT CENTER <br />SWOT ANALYSIS – March 2024 <br />SWOT is an analysis tool to help explore areas for change and growth by developing strategic plans <br />to reach our organizations goals. Each team member completed this survey anonymously based on <br />how they view things today. The key findings are as follows: <br />STRENGTHS <br /> Offering a welcoming and hospitable environment for the diverse needs of our user groups, <br />community members, and guests. <br /> Friendly employees working as a team to provide excellent guest service. <br /> Hardworking staff that strive to keep the facility clean and equipment in prime condition. <br /> Proximity to the high school for afterschool programing. <br />WEAKNESSES <br /> Poor channels of communication. <br /> Inefficient workplace through leadership deficiencies within the organization. <br /> Operational challenges in workflow disorganization and accountability. <br /> Cleanliness is lacking and needs prioritization with additional resources. <br />OPPORTUNTIES <br /> Improve workflow efficiencies by optimizing our allocation of staff resources. <br /> Internal food service and catering capabilities with the addition of liquor sales. <br /> Community sports/group fitness/education programming, specifically the hard court. <br /> Improve communication, accountability, and leadership. <br />THREATS <br /> Conflicting ideas of what our facility should become long-term. <br /> Staffing, keeping quality help. <br /> During our busy season it’s hard to keep the building looking nice. <br /> The number of children left unattended in the building. <br />
