Duffy owns a <br />developable property adjacent to the Coachman property in which they would propose to construct a new <br />building of approximately 50 units targeted at the 55+ population. This project was discussed by the HRA and <br />City Council in the Spring of 2023 as Duffy sought but did not receive funding through the state’s <br />consolidated housing finance application. <br /> <br />Duffy intends to apply for funding again this year. A component of the state application awards points based <br />on local support and participation. The City Council provided a letter of support on recommendation of the <br />HRA in 2023. A housing plan may be considered to support their application further. The application is due <br />mid-July.
