<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />June 23, 1919 <br /> <br />rd <br />Special meeting of the Village Council held at the Office of the Elk River Lumber Co on June 23 <br />1919 said meeting was called as a Board of Equalization to look over the Books of F. Ebner Village <br />assessor as called by Law to hear any complaints of assessment if any or other business. <br /> <br />There were present J.H. Virgin, President of Council, Wm Norval, Clerk and Frank Ebner, Assessor. <br />Meeting called to order at 9 o’clock A.M. The board proceeded to examine the assessors books for <br />assessment of 1919 and remained in session until 5 o’clock P.M. when they reported that the <br />assessment (appeared) to them as fair and just and that no complaints had come before the board, <br />the following resolution was offered by J.H. Virgin. <br /> <br />Be it resolved that the assessment books of Frank Ebner as Village assessor were found to be <br />satisfactory and that the assessments therein contained fair and just.
