To m.
Subject: Josh Clark -Conditional Use ProposaWA9e#IU73-01
Date: Saturday, January 20, 2024 9:09:51 PM
Dear Chris:
We are writing to respond to the request for the conditional use permit by Josh Clark. I did
speak with Josh about the proposal, and stated our major concern was the ultimate intent of the
property use. I explained to Josh that the property does get loud at times during the day when
we appreciate the chance to be outside, and we would be opposed to any major expansion of
his business at the current location. He was willing to find ways to minimize noise and lights
etc. etc., and did not seem interested in significantly increasing the size of his commercial
activities. He stated that it was important to him to be reasonable, and I take him for his word.
If the true goal of the current proposal is the additions as explained in the proposed permit, we
would certainly be amenable to the idea, but, the size of the operation, equipment and
subsequent associated noise, is a major concern for us.
The larger issue to consider, however, is the fairness to property owners presently and in the
future, not only with Josh's property, but others who invest in their pro eities that more
closely match the intended ro ert`r use. For example, our neighbor is in
the process of planting native _ranie asses. We ale m Re process W.
planting native fauna ora . The properties in this area (either
recently purchased, or maintains as rest enna or many years) all seem to share a common
goal of pride and stewardship to their intended use and current status as residentially taxed and
valued.
WM
