City of Meeting of the Elk River <br />Elk Multipurpose Facility Advisory Commission <br />RRiver <br />Vey, Held at the Furniture and Things Community Event Center <br />i Tuesday, December 19, 2023 <br />Members Present: Vice Chair Greg Loidolt, Commissioners Kara Walker, Jennifer Wagner, <br />Betsy Gulden, Jim Hecker, Mike Westgaard <br />Members Absent: Commissioner Mike Cunningham <br />Staff Present: Assistant City Administrator/Business Services Director Joe Stremcha (via phone), <br />Facility Superintendent Tim Dalton and Customer Service Associate Laura Estby <br />I . Call Meeting to Order <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the special meeting of the Multi urpose Facility Advisory <br />Commission was called to order at 6:02 p.m. by Vice Chair Loidolt <br />2.1 Lease Space Access to Fieldho e <br />Mr. Dalton presents the staff report. <br />Commissioner Wagner inquired about the possibility of relocating cameras to be able to view the door <br />to the lease space and suggested moving that from a wish list item to a priority. <br />Commissioner Westgaard noted staff should verify there is wiring in the space to accommodate a <br />door fob and added he feels comfortable letting staff handle the situation moving forward even if <br />further negotiation is needed. He is also ok with grace periods. <br />Motion by Commissioner Gulden and seconded by Commissioner Westgaard to approve the <br />the letter of understanding and giving Mr. Dalton the authority to negotiate as needed. <br />Motion carried 6-0. <br />3. Motion to Adjourn Special Meeting <br />Motion by Commissioner Wagner and seconded by Commissioner Hecker to adjourn the <br />meeting of the Multipurpose Facility Advisory Commission.
