Position Changes: ■ Facility Maintenance Assistant: Convert part-time positions to full-time and advertise for a new full-time position as outlined in the 2024 budget with an anticipated start date in the spring of 2024. ■ Building Supervisor: Consolidate the assistant facility supervisor into one position and move some job duties and functions to this part-time building supervisor position. o Assistant facility supervisor - responsible for front end leadership/supervision, develop programing, coordinate sponsorship outreach/engagement, etc. Will primarily work during the day and for special events. o The building supervisor - part-time position responsible for ensuring the operational security during nights and weekends. Use 4-6 team members working flexible schedules with hours subject to the needs of the facility. Normal hours will be from 5 to 10 p.m. M-F and an open and closing shift on weekends (i.e. 8 a.m. — 3:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. —11 p.m.). Essential functions: ■ Tour the facility on a regular basis and complete the building checklist. ■ Provide a high level of service to members, guests, and program participants. ■ Monitor front desk support activities such as cash handling, locker distribution, merchandise inventory, and security procedures. ■ Take the lead in problem solving building situations during the work shift. ■ Warn visitors of rule infractions and evict violators from the building as necessary. ■ Serve as the point of contact with outside authorities for emergency or disturbances to operations and safety. ■ Supports operations as needed including ice resurfacing when necessary. ■ Concessionaire lead - maintains best accounting practices, establishes and implements effective training protocols, schedules staff, and provides operational support operating the POS, handling transactions, and preparing/serving food and beverages as needed.
