<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />October 13, 1915 <br /> <br />A regular meeting of Village Council was held at the Bank of Elk River on Wednesday evening Oct <br />13, 1915. <br /> <br />Present – C.F. Fiman Pres, E.E. Scott and E.J. Keegan Trustee and W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk. <br />F.D. Waterman, Jos F. Aud and C.M. Babcock visitors. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by President at 8:30 P.M. <br /> <br />C.M. Babcock Pres State Highway com. Presented a blue print and copy of contract with G.N. Ry. <br />Agreeing to haul free of charge 25 cases of crushed rock from St. Cloud mine if the Village of Elk <br />River would agree to cover right of way of said G.N. Ry is shown on blue prints. <br /> <br />On motion proposition accepted and president authorized to sign contract (vote unanimous). <br /> <br />C.M. Babcock was tendered a vote of thanks by Council for securing this broken stone at no cost <br />whatever to village. <br /> <br />The following bills were presented and on motion duly made seconded and declared carried by Pres. <br />The clerk was instructed draw orders for same. <br /> <br />C.F.
