<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />September 8, 1915 <br /> <br />A regular meeting of Village Council was held on Wednesday evening Sept 8, 1915 at the Bank of <br />Elk River. <br /> <br />Present – C.F. Fiman Pres, E.E. Scott, E.J. Keegan and F.M. Plank, Trustee and W.F. Chadbourne, <br />Clerk. F.D. Waterman and C.M. Babcock visitors. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by President at 8:00 P.M. <br /> <br />F.D. Waterman presented a Blue print of Village showing location of Electric lights and asked <br />council to connect same if not already connect after a few minor changes plan accepted. <br /> <br />On motion it was decided to use 14 ft mast heads on all light poles. <br /> <br />C.M. Babcock asked council to appropriate 150.00 for Sherburne County Fair. <br /> <br />After some discussion the following resolution was offered. <br /> <br />Resolved that the Village Council appropriate the sum of 150.00 to aid the first County Fair held in <br />Sherburne Co and the Clerk be authorized to draw a voucher for same. Voted unanimously. <br /> <br />The following bills were presented and on motion allowed and clerk ordered to draw orders for <br />same. <br /> <br />B.L.
