Changes include: <br />■ Four percent increase as approved in the 2024 budget and reflected in item #1 and the PayT Plan on the final <br />page of the document. It is also reflected in payT for paid on-call firefighters, dutyT officers, police reserves, <br />and liquoY stoYe clerks and deliveryr driveYs. <br />■ Minimum `vage has increased which is reflected in the pay for new firefighters in the training academ�T. <br />PreviouslyT firefighters received minimum wage for their first y ear of emplo�Tment. Because academyT <br />graduates are responding firefighters, they will move to the base pay follo`ving academyT graduation. <br />■ Pay rates have been adjusted for part-time, seasonal, and temporaryT recreation employTees to accommodate <br />the market and assist in hiring. Recreation intern, weekend facilityT supervisor, and warning house attendant <br />are positions previouslyT filled but within existing position titles. We are breaking these out to provide <br />competitive wage scales and specific job duties. All positions fall within the budgeted part-time salaries. <br />■ The senior activityT center assistant position is being moved into the PayT Plan beginning JanuaryT 1, 2024. <br />■ We are adding a Lead Seasonal Gardener position. This position will train and direct the �vork of seasonal <br />laborers.
