The a�plicant shall en,gage the ser�rices of a�eYson licensed <br />t�ursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Cha�teY 326 to verif�� e�sting/new structures meet current <br />building codes based on the use. The exce�tions set forth in l��innesota Statutes 326.03, <br />subd. 2, and iVlinnesota Rules�aYt 1800.5900 shall a�pl�r to this section. <br />�h) The �ro�ertv owneY is res�onsible for the o�eYations of the Yesidential occu�ation and an�r <br />liabilitt� related thereto. <br />SECTION 4. That � 30-991, R-1 districts of the CityT of Elk River Code of Ordinances shall be <br />amended to read as follows: <br />Sec. 30-991. R-1 districts. <br />(a� Pur�ose. <br />(1) Gene�ally. The R-1 Yesidential districts aYe established to accomplish the geneYal purposes of <br />this article and for the following specific purposes: <br />a.
