<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />June 9, 1915 <br /> <br />A regular meeting of Village Council was held at the Office of C.F. Fiman on Wednesday June 9, <br />1915. <br /> <br />Present – Charles F. Fiman, Pres, F.M. Plank and E.E. Scott Trustees and W.F. Chadbourne Clerk <br /> <br />Visitors Andrew Davis, Jos F Aud, N.N. Manger of the Bi-Lateral Fire Hose Co. with samples of <br />fire hose. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by the President at 8:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The Council being satisfied that it was necessary to have more fire hose and being satisfied with <br />samples and price that Jos F Aud offered on motion the following resolution was provided. <br /> <br />Resolved that the Village purchase 250 ft of 2 ½ inch fire hose of the Bi-Lateral Co known a “Iman <br />S.J.” at 85 cents per foot. Resolution carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Andrew Davis asked for consideration of Council that they donate certain sum for benefit of Band <br />Concerts to be given weekly during summer. Matter taken under consideration. <br /> <br />Petition for sidewalk on South side of Main St was presented signed by all the property owners on <br />South side of said street when said walk is . <br /> <br />On motion said petition was granted by a unaimous role of council. <br /> <br />The following Resolution was adopted by Council in regard to drawing orders by the Clerk. <br /> <br />Resolved: that the Village Clerk be instructed to draw order for all labor and freight bills immediately <br />after said orders were allowed by the council without waiting for 10 days notice. <br /> <br />The following bills were presented an on motion allowed and clerk ordered to draw orders for same <br />immediately. <br /> <br />W.P.
