Eaternal technical controls <br />consist of search engine indexes, social media, DNS, port scanning, and vulnerability scanning. <br />The primary objective of the Eaternal'1'echnical Controls Assessment and testing exercise is to <br />identify significant vulnerabilities that pose a risk of unauthorized information disclosure, <br />alteration, and/or destruction through publicly accessible* information resources. <br />*Publicly accessible is defined as those resources which are purposefully or accidentally made <br />available through the Internet. <br />Phase 4 of the S20rgOO assessment consists of the following control sections: <br />The Ea�ternal Technical Controls are assessed through: <br />1.
