East Fiber Extension Elk River, Minnesota SECTION 00100 Advertisement for Bids City of Elk River 13065 Orono Parkway Elk River, MN 55330 Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of East Fiber Extension will be received at the office of the City of Elk River, 10635 Orono Parkway, Elk River, MN 55330 until 2:30 p.m.local time, on Monday, September25, 2023,and then at said office publicly opened and publically read. The city will not accept telephone, facsimile, or email bids under any circumstances. The Work for the said improvements, as required by the Contract Documents, is generally described as follows: Design/Build East Fiber Extension. Approximately 22,870 Feet of New Underground Fiber with 3 Conduits Approximately 1,873 Feet of Fiber in Existing Conduit Approximately 12,596 Feet of Aerial Fiber All Fiber to be Single Mode The Bidding Documents including proposal forms, specifications, plans, etc., may be examined at the following locations: City of Elk River, 13065 Orono Parkway, Elk River, 55330 Electronic Bidding Documents may be purchased from the office of the City Clerk, 13065 Orono Parkway, Elk River, MN 55330. The cost for the documents is $25.00. Cash and checks made payable to the City of Elk River are accepted. Include official email address with delivery of check for distribution of electronic plans. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond payable to the City of Elk River for 5%of the total amount of the bid. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bids received without explanation. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days.
