East Fiber Extension Elk River, Minnesota Division S S-1PROJECT DESCRIPTION This project aims to provide city fiber infrastructure to the east side of Highway 169 for current and future facilities. S-2 Personnel S-2.1 Owner The Owner of the projects, entitled East Fiber Extension, is the City of Elk River. Correspondence should be addressed to: Mr. Justin Femrite, P.E. City of Elk River 13065 Orono Parkway Elk River, MN 55330 Phone: 763.635.1051 Email: jfemrite@ElkRiverMN.gov S-3 Project Schedule Construction of the East Fiber Extensionwill be as follows: Shall be completed before October 1, 2024. Once work has begun on the contract, it shall progress continuously and be completed within one month of the start date. Within ten (10) days of executing the Contract, and in any case by the time of the preconstruction conference, the Contractor shall submit a schedule for commencement and completion of the work. This schedule shall include an anticipated partial pay estimate schedule and shall be reviewed by the Owner and the Engineer. The project schedule shall be updated by the Contractor upon request of the Engineer. S-4 Guarantee The Contractor shall guarantee all materials and equipment furnished and work performed for a period of two (2) years from the date of substantial completion. The Contractor warrants and guarantees for a period of two(2) yearsfrom the date of substantial completion of the system, that the completed system is free from all defects due to faulty materials or workmanship, and the Contractor shall promptly make such corrections as may be necessary by reason of such defects including the repairs, adjustments, or other work that may be necessary by such defects. In the event that the Contractor should fail to make such repairs, adjustments, or other work that may be necessary by such defects, the Owner may do so and charge the Contractor the cost thereby Division S S-1
