Ric Haugland, 21475 US Reviewed by Highway 10 Cal Portner, City Administrator Action Requested Extend the date to complete the required conditions to April 1, 2024. Background/Discussion The request for a Conditional Use Permit to allow the operation of an auto repair facility at 21475 Highway 169 was approved by the Council on October 21, 2019, with seven conditions of approval. In December of 2021 and again in December of 2022, the applicant requested one-year extensions to finalize the site and building amenities. The applicant continues to make progress on the project and is requesting an extension until April 1, 2024, to complete the required conditions. As the applicants email states, they hope to have everything finalized by the end of November but want some cushion. One of the conditions of approval was the 1,500 square foot office/house structure was to be removed by October 21, 2021. The applicant wishes to maintain and use this structure and will be applying for an amendment to their CUP. Once the applicant finalized all the required building permits and conditions of the CUP, the new structure can then be utilized for business purposes.
