<br /> <br /> <br />City of Elk River <br /> <br />City Council <br /> <br />Resolution 23-____ <br /> <br />A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Authorizing <br />Execution of a Grant Agreement for the Toward Zero Death Program <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Be it resolved that the City of Elk River, on behalf of its police department, <br />enter into a grant agreement with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, for traffic <br />safety enforcement projects during the period from October 1, 2023, through September 30, <br />2024; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of Elk River Police Chief, Ron Nierenhausen, is hereby authorized <br />to execute such agreements and amendments as are necessary to implement the project on <br />behalf of the City of Elk River Police Department and to be the fiscal agent and administer <br />the grant. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk <br />River, Minnesota, as follows: Accepts the Toward Zero Death Program Grant and <br />authorizes the execution of the agreement <br /> <br />th <br />Passed and adopted this 16 day of October 2023. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> John J.
