<br />Meeting of the Elk River <br />Heritage Preservation Commission <br />Held at the Elk River City Hall <br />Thursday, July 20, 2023 <br /> <br />Members Present: Chair Lance Lindberg, Commissioners Linda Campbell, Zachary Griffiths, Mike Hangaard, <br />Tony Mauren, Debra Mortensen <br /> <br />Members Absent: None <br /> <br />Council Liaison: Councilmember Cory Grupa (absent) <br /> <br />Staff Present: Senior Planner Chris Leeseberg <br /> <br />1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Heritage Preservation Commission <br />was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chair Lindberg. <br /> <br />2. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> <br />3. Consider Agenda <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Mauren and seconded by Commissioner Griffiths to approve the July 20, <br />2023, Heritage Preservation Commission agenda. <br /> <br />Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />4. Consider Minutes <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Hangaard and seconded by Commissioner Griffiths to approve the May <br />18, 2023, Heritage Preservation minutes. <br /> <br />Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />5.1 Elk River Documentary <br /> <br /> Commissioner Griffiths explained the documentary is completed and Zack Carlton sent out an email with <br /> the link to view it. He indicated it’s about 35 minutes in length and commission members could email him <br /> feedback and content errors, etc., by August 7, 2023. <br /> <br /> The commission members thought the documentary was great and will be a very useful tool. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Campbell asked how she could watch the first portion of the video. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Griffiths indicated he will send out both links via email and then it will be uploaded to the <br /> Elk River city YouTube page after the HPC Farmers Market event. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
