Multipurpose Facility Advisory Commission Minutes Page 2 <br /> April 10,2023 <br /> Mr.Dalton presented the staff report and the figures showing profits made by the concession stand <br /> with <br /> varying expenses listed for Building Maintenance Manager Rich Czech's time to manage it. <br /> Mr.Dalton adds the facility is expecting approximately$5600 in catering commission from events <br /> that have taken place between January- March. <br /> The Commission agreed to invite Chris from the Elk River Golf Course to a future meeting to discuss <br /> his interest in running the concession stand. <br /> Mr.Williams noted he will be bringing a group to a future meeting that has developed an app for <br /> online ordering that was used at the High School football stadium for home games with success. <br /> 6.2. Public Hearing Planning <br /> The Commission agreed to set the public hearing for the June meeting at 6:30 p.m. <br /> 6.3. Facility Branding <br /> Mr. Hecker agreed to form a group with Senior Center Coordinator Natalie Anderson to discuss the <br /> branding of the Senior Activity Center. <br /> 6.4. Multipurpose Facility Policy <br /> Mr.Dalton presented the staff report with additional sections of the policy for review by The <br /> Commission.He agreed to look into other turf facilities to see what they had in place for priority <br /> rental policies. <br /> 6.5. Ice/Turf/Room Rates for 2023-2024 <br /> Mr.Dalton presented the staff report noting a lack of information on surrounding rink rates for the <br /> 2023-2024 season. <br /> The Commission agreed to set the ice rates at the June meeting. <br /> 7.1. Commission By - Laws <br /> Motion by Commissioner Loidolt and seconded by Commissioner Westgaard to approve the <br /> Multipurpose Facility Advisory Commission By-Laws as presented. Motion carries 7-0. <br /> 7.2. MN Squatch Contract <br /> Mr. Cunningham expressed concern with MN Squatch signage in the lobby during High School <br /> Hockey games. <br /> POWERED 11 <br /> NATURE <br />
