<br /> <br />Request for Action <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />To Item Number <br />Mayor and City Council 4.4 <br />Agenda Section Meeting Date Prepared by <br />Consent Agenda September 5, 2023 Natalie Anderson, Senior Activity Center Coordinator <br />Item Description Reviewed by <br />Resolution: Accept Donation from Elk River Youth Michael Hecker, Parks and Recreation Manager <br />Hockey Association <br />Reviewed by <br />Joe Stremcha, Assistant City Administrator <br />Cal Portner, City Administrator <br /> <br />Action Requested <br />Adopt, by motion, a resolution acknowledging the monetary contributions of $2,500 from Elk River Youth <br />Hockey Association. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br />It was recommended during the Multipurpose Facility Branding process that the Senior Activity Center have a <br />display case in the hallway to use for marketing and promotional purposes. <br /> <br />In 2023, $3000 was budgeted for a display case. A committee made up of five seniors, including the Multipurpose <br />Facility Advisory Committee Senior Representative, Jim Hecker, came to a consensus for its style and size. Jim <br />Hecker reported the findings back to the Multipurpose Facility Advisory Committee.
