Planning Commission <br />During the public hearing, no public spoke for or against the request and staff have not received any comments <br />since the commission meeting. While the commission had no concerns about the request, parking was the main <br />topic discussed. Parking background information can be reviewed on the attached Planning Commission memo <br />dated July 25, 2023. <br />The applicant asked the commission to consider the parking requirements for the "Event Space" be based on five <br />corn holes lanes and not as assembly/bar space. The commission agreed with the applicant and recommended <br />that. With that direction, the site would require 46 stalls. The site has 43 existing stalls and shows 14 proof -of <br />parking for a total of 57 future stalls. <br />It was also discussed if the "Event Space" was to be used for anything other corn hole, it would require a special <br />event permit.
