The Elk River Vision
A welcoming community with revolutionary and spirited resourcefulness, exceptional
service, and community engagement that encourages and inspires prosperity. The motion approved
for an upland park area of 26.68 acres will be corrected to total land dedication of 27.37 acres. The additional
increase of 0.69 acres is caused by the addition of the trail connecting the street to the circular pond trail
(between basin J and K).

A discussion item from the last meeting was the trail cost for the regional trail. We have a recent example of a
developer funded 10-foot trail from a project currently underway in the city with a baseline cost of $50 to $70
per LF. This makes a total cost estimate for the 4,860 LF trail between $250k and $350k.

Financial Impact
None

Mission/Policy/Goal
Responsibility grow
Opportunity to live, work and play

Attachments
June 14 Park Commission Staff Report and Draft Minutes
Bradford Park Exhibit Layout Plan with Legend
