Preliminary Plat for Cherrvwood Hills <br /> <br />John Peterson of Good Value Homes has requested preliminary plat approval to <br />subdivide 39 acres located in the northwest corner of Proctor and 193rd Avenue <br />into 68 single family lots. The Commissioners discussed 193rd A venue becoming a <br />trail corridor. A 30 foot wide trail is proposed to connect Rush Circle with 193rd. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER DAVE ANDERSON MOVED TO ACCEPT OUTLOT C, CREDIT THE <br />DEVELOPER FOR TRAIL CONSTRUCTION COSTS IN OUTLOT C AND ALONG PROCTOR <br />TO 193RD AVENUE, AND THE BALANCE OF PARK DEDICATION REQUIREMENTS BE MET <br />BY A CASH PAYMENT. Preliminary Plat for Trott Brook Farms (CPDCI <br /> <br />Steve Ach reviewed discussion items of the last Park & Recreation Commission <br />meeting. Steve noted a 4.2 acre park was proposed for the Schulze property and <br />2.2 acres on the adjacent parcel. <br /> <br />John Payton explained the developer needs to know what sort of park the Park <br />& Recreation would like see in the area. Chair Dana indicated he would like to <br />see more flat land, possibly taking in more area to the north of the wetland. Mr. <br />Ed Hasek indicated the difficulty in creating flat land due to the topography. <br />Discussion followed regarding adjusting the roadway to gain additional flat land <br />to the north of the proposed park. He felt if the Park & Rec Commission was <br />satisfied with a centrally located park and felt it was large enough for a ballfield <br /> <br />. <br />
