COMMISSIONER ROLFE ANDERSON <br />SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER DAVE ANDERSON MOVED THE FOLLOWING CHANGES TO THE <br />MASTER PARK PLAN: <br /> <br />1. ADJUST MAPS C-1.2 AND E-1.1 TO REFLECT THE REVISED NEIGHBORHOOD <br />PARK PLAN. <br /> <br />2. ACCEPT STAFF'S RECOMMENDATION ON ADDITIONAL TRAILS IN THE NEW <br />URBAN SERVICE AREA WITH ADJUSTMENTS MADE BY PARK AND RECREATION <br />COMMISSION. <br /> <br />3. ACCEPT STAFF'S RECOMMENDED PARAGRAPH BE ADDED TO THE "PROPOSED <br />TRAIL SYSTEM" SECTION OF THE PLAN (PAGE 107): <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER TUTTLE SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> <br />8.5 Harold Gramstad, Lions Park Development <br /> <br />Harold Gramstad, representing the Lions Club, updated the Commission <br />regarding improvements to Lions Park. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />Area Recreation Update - Jeff Asfahl <br /> <br />Lana Huberty, Park & Recreation Commissioner, updated the Commission for Jeff <br />Asfahl. The "March For Parks" will be Saturday April 20, 1996. The Commission <br />suggested a Police escort. Commissioner Donais suggested to hand out <br />information to the walkers regarding Woodland Trails Park. <br /> <br />9. Discussion of Available Park Funds <br /> <br />Phil Hals, Street/Park Superintendent, stated the park dedication fund balance is <br />$102,305 with $45,500 of that amount committed as grant match for the Shiely <br />park purchase, leaving a balance of $56,805. Other park fund balances include: <br />$19,400 for the park trail reserye, and $51,150 for the park equipment reserve (less <br />$1 0,500 for 1996 mower aerifier purchase). <br /> <br />10. Discussion of Cass Property Development <br /> <br />The Park & Recreation Commission continued their discussion on the <br />development of the Cass Property. Commissioner Olson suggested to meet with <br />all the youth organizations regarding the players fee. The Commission discussed <br />constructing only softball and baseball fields and to take soccer out if they are <br />not willing to contribute. <br /> <br />. Commissioner Tuttle left at this time 9:50 p.m. <br />
