Westwood Subdivision as Neighborhood Park (Tax Forfeited <br />Land) <br /> <br />Steve Rohlf, Building and Zoning Administrator, explained in his memo dated <br />8/3/95, the pro's and con's of purchasing this lot for a potential neighborhood park. <br />Phil Hals presented this item to the Commission. Due to the size of this lot, the <br />Park and Recreation Commission decided not to purchase this parcel. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER ROLFE ANDERSON MOVED TO DENY THE PURCHASE <br />OF LOT 5, BLOCK 8, WESTWOOD SUBDIVISION, DUE TO THE SIZE OF <br />THE LOT. COMMISSIONER OLSON SECONDED THE MOTION. Staff recommended taking the cash park <br />dedication fee on this administrative subdivision request. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER OLSON MOVED TO TAKE THE SUM OF $500 FOR THE <br />PARK DEDICATION FEE ON THE DENNIS BOOTH ADMINISTRATIVE <br />SUBDIVISION; 213TH AVENUE AND FILLMORE ALIGNMENT. <br />COMMISSIONER ROLFE ANDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />AS 95-6: Phil Hals presented this item.
