After a brief discussion, it was the consensus of the Commission that it would be of little value to talk to this group until more information came forward from the Civic Center group. The Civic Center discussion should be held at the October meeting so the Orono Lake Addition residents should be invited to attend the November Park and Recreation Commission meeting. . b. Update on EDA Action on Main street Redevelopment Site Commissioner Dana Anderson provided street Redevelopment Site from the EDA brief discussion was held. an update meeting on on the EDA Main 9/13/93. A COMMISSIONER DANA ANDERSON MOVED THAT THE PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION SUPPORTS THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE EDA MAIN STREET REDEVELOPMENT SITE FOR PARK USAGE, AND, SINCE THE 90 DAY EXCLUSIVE OPTION HAS EXPIRED AND THE BUILDING PROPOSAL HAS BEEN SCALED DOWN, THE CITY SHOULD NOT WAIT FOR OTHER DEVELOPER PROPOSALS, BUT SHOULD MOVE AHEAD BY AUTHORIZING THE FILLING OF THE HOLE THIS FALL AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF A PARK IN THAT SITE NEXT SPRING. COMMISSIONER O'BRIEN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. c. Update on Kincanon Plat of Outlot A - Heritage Landing A brief discussion was held on the proposal for Outlot A in Heritage Landing. . COMMISSIONER DANA ANDERSON MOVED TO TAKE TEN PROPERTY. COMMISSIONER O'BRIEN SECONDED THE MOTION. CARRIED 4-0-1. Commissioner Daleiden abstained. PERCENT THE OF THE MOTION 11. Adjournment There being no further business, COMMISSIONER OLSON MOVED TO ADJOURN THE MEETING. COMMISSIONER DANA ANDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0.
