Continue 11/4/92 Snowmobile Trails Discussion Elk River resident and Big Lake Snowmobile Club member, Dean Thompson, questioned agenda item #5. Phil Hals, Street/Park Superintendent, explained that Jeff Hribar of the Elk Lake Snowmobile Club had approached the Park and Recreation Commission in November, questioning the possibility of a snowmobile trail on the old railroad bed from the Landfill south. It was the Park and Recreation Commission's feeling that it could be used on a trial basis as far south as County Road #33, and that the snowm~bilers should come toa future meeting with other trail requests within the City. . Dean Thompson said that he would relay this information on to his club and that he would like to cooperate with the Elk Lake Club to develop a trail within the City of Elk River.
