City of Elk River <br />Financial Analysis <br />General Fund — Revenues and Expenditures <br />The following table and graph show the overall operations of the General Fund. Revenues have <br />increased over each of the five years shown from a low of $13,388,849 in 2018 to a high in 2022 of <br />$16,417,671. Overall, from 2018 to 2022, revenues have increased $3,028,822, or 22.6%. Revenues <br />increased by $784,179 when comparing 2022 to 2021. Similarly, expenditures have increased over each <br />of the five years presented. In 2022, expenditures were $18,663,781, an increase from the prior year of <br />$1,834,181.
