Our goal is to improve readability, clarity, add necessary updates, and outline enforcement <br />proceedings. <br /> <br />The Council reviewed a draft of this ordinance on February 9, 2023, and staff incorporated comments from that <br />meeting. Some of those changes include maintenance of non-developed lots, trash can placement, and <br />enforcement procedures for long grass and sidewalk snow removal. <br /> <br />One notable change, during the Rinker Conditional Use Permit public hearing, there was a lot of conversation <br />regarding applying the construction hours of operation to approved uses in the city. The previously reviewed <br />ordinance would have expanded the standard to apply to Rinker and their industrial operation, but during the <br />review of that project it was determined that the standard should not be applied to legal industrial operations.
