_ f _ <br />DOWNTOWN <br />�/Ok <br />discover <br />i777charm. <br />The Riverfront Downtown Elk River Business Association would like to <br />ask for the following request to be approved. <br />We are looking to have three planters put in the following locations <br />seen in this packet at the three-way stop signs in the center of our <br />downtown. Why? As a group we feel this is the main focal point of <br />coming into our downtown area and having these filled with <br />greenery, holiday decorations etc. year-round establishes <br />beautification to our downtown. <br />These planters will be taken care of by DERBA members year-round. <br />The locations of these planters will not interfere with city shoveling or <br />pedestrians. These locations, used for 2022 decorations for fall and <br />Christmas as noticed, did not interfere with shoveling or walking for <br />pedestrians. We as a DERBA group and City of Elk River had many <br />community members express how nice they looked and were a great <br />asset to our downtown.
