We are also working with City IT staff on a trial of multi - <br />factor authentication software. <br />• We are continuing with the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) grant <br />application process. In selecting projects for this grant application, staff looked at <br />projects ERMU already had identified within the next 5 years of the long range budget. <br />The grant covers 50% of project costs, and would apply to the 2024-2028 timeframe. <br />Staff is looking for commission consensus to support the grant application. ERMU's cost <br />between 2024-2028 would be 50% of the project total, which is $1,250,000. Formal <br />approval of spending in each year would be done through the yearly budget process, <br />but a commitment of intent to complete the projects must be submitted with the grant <br />application.
