SECTION 12 <br />SUPERVISION/CONDUCT POLICIES <br /> <br />12.0 PURPOSE <br />To establish procedures and policies for the enforcement of Furniture and Things <br />Community Event Center rules and regulations to promote the safe, enjoyable use of the <br />FTCEC by all users. <br /> <br />12.1 SUPERVISION <br />A. Children eight (8) years of age and under must always be supervised by an <br />adult/guardian in the facility/on FTCEC property. <br />B. Youth groups (participant’s ages 18 and younger) must be chaperoned on a ratio of <br />one adult per ten (10) youth, or other ratio as Parks and Recreation staff deem <br />necessary. <br /> <br />12.2 SUPERVISION/CONDUCT <br />A. Adult leadership/children supervision. <br />Every user of the facility must be under competent adult leadership (supervision). <br />The user shall assume full responsibility for a group’s conduct and for any damage to <br />the building or equipment. Children must always be kept under direct supervision of <br />adults and kept confined to the reserved area of the user group. The City will not <br />assume liability for unsupervised children. The City will be paid for any damage or <br />additional cleaning for any costs incurred because of unsupervised youth. <br />B. If deemed necessary because of the type of event or activity, the City reserves the <br />right to assign a staff person and/or licensed police officer for a user group at an <br />additional cost to the Facility User. <br />C. Disorderly conduct shall be grounds for immediate termination of the activity/event <br />without refund. This will be determined by City staff or a licensed policing agency <br />(i.e. police officer). <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
