Congratulations on further growth in Elk River. I do not see any
substantive issues related to MnDOT highway or right of way due to the development other than the
additional traffic that will be driven to US 169, which does have sufficient capacity to accommodate
the development related traffic. Let me know if you think otherwise or if you need anything further
from MnDOT.
Thanks,
Tom Cruikshank
Principal Planner I District 3
3725 12th Street North, St. Cloud, MN 56303-2107
Phone: (320) 223-6526 1 Cell: (320) 267-9859
Email: thomas.cruikshank(@state.mn.us
Im ndot-email-signature
1 2
From: Lind, Katherine (DOT) <Katherine.Lind@state.mn.us>
Sent: Thursday, December 15, 2022 6:53 PM
To: Cruikshank, Thomas (DOT)<Thomas.Cruikshank@state.mn.us>; Voss, Steven (DOT)
<ste ve. voss @ state. m n . u s>
Subject: FW: EAW Public Comment Period - Lennar/City of Elk River
The following Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) has been
forwarded for your District's possible review and comment.
Due to large file size, the EAW is accessible online at:
https: //www.elkrivcrmn.gov/DocumentCenter/View/ 11562/Fos ter-Prol2ertg-EAW
Any transportation or MnDOT right of way concerns the District may have
should be provided directly to the Responsible Governmental Unit (RGU)
indicated on the transmittal (highlighted in the forwarded email, below or
`•J accessed via the weblinks to the EAW).
