Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. 6.02 Addenda may be issued to clarify, correct, or change the Bidding Documents as deemed advisable by Owner or Engineer. ARTICLE 7 — CONTRACT TIMES 7.01 The number of days within which, or the dates by which milestones are to be achieved and the Work is to be substantially completed and ready for final payment are set forth in the Contract. ARTICLE 8 — LIQUIDATED DAMAGES 8.01 Provisions for liquidated damages, if any, are set forth in the Contract. ARTICLE 9— SUBSTITUTE AND "OR-EQUAL" ITEMS 9.01 The Contract, if awarded, will be on the basis of materials and equipment specified or described in the Bidding Documents without consideration of possible substitute or "or-equal" items. Whenever it is specified or described in the Bidding Documents that a substitute or "or-equal" item of material or equipment may be furnished or used by Contractor if acceptable to Engineer, application for such acceptance will not be considered by Engineer until after the Effective Date of the Contract. ARTICLE 10 — PREPARATION OF BID 10.01 The Bid Form and attachments are included with the Bidding Documents. Photocopies of these documents should be made for the purpose of submitting the Bid. 10.02 All blanks on the Bid Form shall be completed in ink and the Bid Form signed in ink. Erasures or alterations shall be initialed in ink bythe person signingthe Bid Form. A Bid price shall be indicated for each section, Bid Item, Alternate, adjustment Bid Unit Price Bid Item, and Bid Unit Price Bid Item listed therein. 10.03 A Bid by a corporation shall be executed in the corporate name by the president or a vice- president or other corporate officer accompanied by evidence of authority to sign.
