<br />ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING <br />JUNE 12, 1972 <br /> <br />A special meeting was called to order by Franklin Madsen. The purpose was to choose names for <br />the north and south streets. The avenues are numbered. The east two tiers of Sec. east of Village will <br />be famous people. Those north of the village will be a continuation of the village names. The two <br />tiers of sections west of the village will be named for cities. The names are listed below those present <br />at the meeting were chairman F Madsen, E Schulke, E Specht and E Rathbun.
