Adhesive/Sealant installation of Crete� Pro-Ring shall conform to the following <br />requirements: <br />a) Any adhesive or sealant used for watertight installation of the grade adjustment rings <br />shall be M-1 Structural Adhesive/Sealant, Rapid Set Flexible Construction Adhesive <br />& Sealant or equal meeting these applicable performance standards: <br />a. ASTM G920, Type S, Grade NS, Class 35. Uses NT, T1, M, G, A and O. <br />b. ASTM E84, Class A <br />c. Federal Specification TT-S-00230-C Type II, Class B <br />d. Corps of Engineers CRD-G541, Type II, Class B <br />e. Installation and surface preparation shall be in accordance with the manufacturer's <br />instructions. <br />The joint between the first grade ring and the top of the manhole, catch basin or utility <br />structure shall be sealed using the specified sealant/adhesive. <br />If the top of the manhole, catch basin, or utilit�� structure is not level or is irregular, then <br />a bed of specified mortar or grout shall be placed on the top surface of the utilit�� <br />structure and the first grade ring shall be embedded and leveled into the bed of material. <br />The remaining joints between all grade adjustments and the frame and cover or grate <br />shall be sealed using the specified adhesive/sealant. <br />No other materials shall be used in the construction of the grade adjustment area beyond <br />those specified abo�re. Prohibited materials include, but are not limited to wood or wood <br />shims of any kind, concrete, brick, block, stones, etc. <br />A. Drainage: the top slab of the wet well and valve vault should be set high enough to allow <br />drainage away from the lift station structure. <br />B. Access: an access driveway that is 12' wide � 20' long shall be provided for the lift <br />station. <br />C.
