The problem is that there are some loose parts, and the nuts and bolts are <br />deteriorating. Irby Utilities is helping to facilitate a resolution to this issue. The vendor <br />has 8 of the 12 in for repairs currently. We received the four that were fixed. <br />• The City of Elk River and ERMU initially intended to purchase 14 total trucks in 2023 <br />through the State Vehicle Contract. Ford informed us that Elk River will only receive one. <br />The City will receive a new F550 from Ford while ERMU will now be looking to the open <br />market to see what options are available. <br />• 1 attended Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association's Job Training & Safety meeting in <br />Brainard January 26 to review classes for the future underground school. <br />• Staff has been replacing/fixing transformers, streetlights, and junction boxes which have <br />been damaged by snow removal vehicles. <br />• Attending internal meetings on Advanced Metering Infrastructure, GIS mapping, and the <br />Employee Engagement Survey. <br />• Taking many phone calls and emails on future commercial and residential developments <br />coming to Elk River and Otsego in 2023. <br />• Working on material and equipment needs for the upcoming construction season. <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />114 <br />
