<br />Furniture and Things Community Event Center <br />SECTION 7 <br />HOURS OF OPERATION <br /> <br />7.0 PURPOSE <br />To establish operating hours that best meet the need to open the facility with the intent to <br />meet the demands of various drop-in centers, scheduled programs, and events. To set hours <br />that promote efficient use of the building and scheduling of staff to meet the financial <br />expectations of the facility. <br /> <br />7.1 DEFINITIONS <br />Peak Season Demand of the facility use is greater and is a typical programming <br />period for the respective activity that is used in each facility area, <br />typically referred to in the Ice Arena operation. <br />Off Peak Season Overall demand and use of the facility area is typically less due to the <br />time of year. <br />Prime Time Most desirable time (period) to use a facility area (i.e. Ice Arena) <br />Non-Prime Time Typically less desirable time (period) for use of that facility area. <br /> <br />7.2 GENERAL FACILITY HOURS <br />The Furniture and Things Community Event Center general building hours are for all areas <br />unless specified differently within this section. <br />A. Regular Facility Hours <br />Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. <br />Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. <br />Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. <br />Holiday Refer to holiday schedule <br /> <br />B. Holiday Hours <br />The facility will be open limited hours on the following holidays unless <br />events/usage dictate the need for regular or extended hours. A request from <br />regular rental groups (i.e. Church Group on Sundays) would be <br />accommodated on days when limited hours are scheduled based upon <br />projected attendance. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
