Next Steps
Ms. Steinmetz displayed a draft Task Force Redevelopment Plan Timeline onto the screen and
discussed with the group the anticipated schedule leading up to final consideration of the
Redevelopment Plan by the Task Force, HRA and City Council. She stated that City
Board/Commission and public input would be gathered in July and August, including a series of
public open houses (two evening and one daytime in order to provide a number of public attendance
options). She forecasted that the Task Force would consider all of the Board/Commission and
public input in September and that the HRA and City Council could consider the final
Redevelopment Plan adoption in November. She asked the Task Force if they would prefer to
thth
reschedule their July 2nd meeting because of the July 4 holiday. The group agreed that June 25
would be an appropriate meeting date. Ms. Steinmetz inquired if the Task Force had any concerns
with the anticipated schedule. Hearing none, the Task Force meeting adjourned at 9:00pm.

Submitted by,

Heidi Steinmetz
Assistant Director of Economic Development
