After completing the compliance checks, I brought the pipe tobacco back to the Elk River Pohice Depariment where I secured it in my office and later entered into evidence on 12/06/22, 1 also took photographs ofthe pipe tobacco and uploaded thern to evidence.com. '['he buyer described the salesclerk to Lees and I at which tinne Lecs and I entered the business and made. contact with the clerk, who I identified by MN driver's license as Arianna Patricia, Genevieve Sappa DO,B: 04/23/03. Sappa achnitted to selling the pipe tobacco to the buyer and knowing that it is illegal to sell tobacco products to people under 21 years of age. Sappa admitted to not asking for the buyer's identification or asking her age. Sappa said it was busy in the store and she: didn't even to up at the buyer to see what her age looked like. Sapp,a said she has been cited in the past for selling tobacco products to minors while employed at the sarne establishment (Vape Bar), I was later able to find the prior citation to Sappa was issued on 1ill 31122 (Elk River Police case #22020143).
