<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 1, 1925 <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Village Council was held at the Library Room on Monday June 1, 1925 <br /> <br />Present – Roland K Wilson, Pres, L.L. Bishop, B.E. Fournier, Trustees, W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by the Pres at 8 o'clock P.M. <br /> <br />Geo E. Page, Lester Bailey, and C.H. Bade appeared before the council representing the Commercial <br />Club asking that the council make a donation towards repairing the camping ground <br />building and swimming hole. <br /> <br />After some discussion a motion was made seconded and declared carried that the sum of 50.00 <br />dollars be donated for the above purpose. <br /> <br />The council appointed the following as Board of Health Dr. Geo E Page, Chairman 3 years, B.E. <br />Fournier 2 years, L.L. Bishop 1 year. <br /> <br />In regard to question of Peddlers License the clerk was instructed to correspond with the League of <br />Minn Municipalities in regard to form for law. <br /> <br />Dr. Melgaard presented the applications of C.M. Smith and C.A. Mouldenhauer for license to sell <br />milk and cream in the Village of Elk River and recommended that request be granted.
