<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 9, 1920 <br /> <br />th <br />Special meeting of the Village Council held in the office of the Elk River Lumber Co on Dec 9, <br />1920. <br /> <br />Members present J.H. Virgin, President, Chas Selhauer, Bert Carr, Trustee <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by the president at 8:10 p.m. <br /> <br />Minutes of last meeting was read and approved by the council. <br /> <br />This meeting was called for the purpose of making the final settlement with W.C. Buck he was <br />present and presented his bill to the council. <br /> <br />Mr. W.C. Buck was employed by the village as engineer on the water works system. His salary is 3% <br />of the total cost of water works system. The total still due him on $55,574.12 is $548.00. <br /> <br />Motion made by Chas Selhauer and seconded by Bert Carr that a warrant be issued to Mr. Buck for <br />$548.00 as salary due him as engineer on waterworks system and warrant to be final settlement. <br /> <br />Motion was voted on and accepted by the council. <br /> <br /> <br />No further business.
