Part-Time Pay 5. Effective January 1, 2023, Paid On-Call Firefighters shall be paid in accordance with the following schedule: Position Hourly Rate Probationary Firefighter $10.59 Firefighter Base Pay - years 1 through 5 $16.24 Years 6 through 10 Base plus $0.50 Years 11 through 15 Base plus $1.50 Years 16 through 25 Base plus $2.50 Years 26 and above Base plus $3.00 Additional to Firefighter pay above: Lieutenant $1.00 Captain $2.00 Assistant Chief $3.00 Officers who serve on-call as Duty Officer shall be paid $6.06 for each hour of on-call duty. 6. Fire Academy instructors and Fire Department members instructing a course for firefighters earning a certification or maintaining a certification or licensure shall be paid according to the following schedule: Assistant Instructor $30.00 per hour Lead Instructor $40.00 per hour 7. Part-Time Police Reserves are required to serve in both a volunteer and a paid capacity. Effective January 1, 2023, Police Reserves shall be paid $18.11 per hour for the hours that are to be paid as determined by the Police Chief. 8. Part-Time, Seasonal, and Temporary Park and Recreation and Public Works employees shall be paid in accordance with the following schedule: Maximum Annual Hourly Position Hourly Rate Increase Recreation Program Leader I $12.00 – 13.00 $0.25 Recreation Program Leader II $14.00 – 16.00 $0.50 Recreation Program Supervisor $16.00 – 18.00 $0.50 Farmers Market Program Supervisor $16.00 – 18.00 $0.50 Recreation Building Attendant $12.00 – 14.00 $0.50 Senior Activity Center Assistant $16.00 – 18.00 $0.50 Seasonal Park Laborer $16.00 – 18.00 $0.75 Seasonal Street Laborer $16.00 – 18.00 $0.75 Winter Public Works Laborer $17.00 – 19.00 $0.75 Seasonal Snowplow Operator $18.00 – 21.00 $0.75 Seasonal Gardener $18.00 – 25.00 $0.75 Seasonal Wastewater Laborer $16.00 – 18.00 $0.75
