<br />Request for Action <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />To Item Number <br />Mayor and City Council 4.12 <br />Agenda Section Meeting Date Prepared by <br />Consent December 19, 2022 Lauren Wipper, Human Resources Manager <br />Item Description Reviewed by <br />Promote Lori Stich to Finance Manager Cal Portner, City Administrator <br />Reviewed by <br /> <br /> <br />Action Requested <br />Approve, by motion, the promotion of Lori Stich to the position of Finance Manager effective December 20, <br />2022. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br />With the retirement of Finance Director Lori Ziemer, we are implementing a reorganization of the division. <br />Assistant Finance Director Lori Stich will now be leading the division under a director/assistant city administrator <br />level position that will include divisions that had not been assigned to Ms. Ziemer. This directs responsibility in <br />finance tasks and supervision to Ms. Stich’s position. <br /> <br />It is recommended Ms. Stich be moved to a new position of Finance Manager. Her pay grade would change to 4E <br />and she would be paid at step C. Her pay step anniversary date would become December 20 of each year.
