The level two charger located in <br />front of the ERMU office had five sessions and provided customers with 88 kWh. The DC <br />fast charger at the Coborn's fuel station needs a modem upgrade to allow for <br />connection to the network. The new modem has arrived and we are waiting for the <br />work to be dispatched. There was no estimated installation date provided. <br />• The Elk River Landfill Gas to Electric Facility is no longer generating electricity. The <br />facility began decommissioning October 31 around 12:30 p.m. ERMU has satisfied the <br />Sherburne County promissory note and received the $45,000 payment from Waste <br />Management facilities. <br />• There are nine active residential solar projects under review or construction in the <br />ERMU service territory. Staff continues to collaborate with customers interested in a <br />solar installation on a case by case basis. <br />• The downtown Elk River trick or treating event was a spectacular success. We made <br />contact with many families, handed out lots of candy for the kids, and even had the <br />opportunity to talk with some customers about energy efficiency and electric vehicle <br />(EV) programs. <br />• ERMU and city staff will meet with Tri-CAP on November 4 to discuss funding and <br />resources for housing rehabilitation programs. We will also review marketing materials <br />for distribution in 2023. <br />• Staff had the opportunity to participate in a forum on electric vehicles (EVs). The event <br />was sponsored by Clean Energy Resource Teams, Great River Energy, Minnesota Rural <br />Electric Association, and Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association. There were 81 <br />participants that attended the virtual session which focused on EV charging strategies, <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />152 <br />
