��i <br />Elk River <br />Municipal Utilities UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING <br />TO: <br />FROM: <br />ERMU Commission <br />Thomas Geiser— Operations Director <br />MEETING DATE: <br />AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: <br />November 8, 2022 <br />6.1g <br />SUBJECT: <br />Staff Update <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />None <br />DISCUSSION: <br />• Staff has been attending meetings with Sherburne County to plan for the County Road <br />44 project. <br />• Working on 2023 Budget items. <br />• We are still having issues with the fuse pads we received which were incorrectly <br />assembled. The problem is that there are some loose parts, and the nuts and bolts are <br />deteriorating. Irby Utilities is helping to facilitate a resolution to this issue. The vendor <br />who sold the pads is currently fixing eight of the twelve we received. <br />• We received our Ford F550, and it is currently at Towmaster Trailers in Litchfield getting <br />the dump box installed. <br />• We have been having some issues with the power take -offs on bucket truck 5 and 11. <br />We are working with Altec and Freightliner to resolve those. <br />• Staff has started installing underground primary/transformers for the apartments being <br />built at Highways 10 and 169. <br />• Working on getting an additional feeder from Station 14 Bank 4 to Otsego for future <br />support. This project will extend into spring of 2023. <br />• Still attending weekly Highway 169 Redefine project meetings. Everything is going well <br />at this point. <br />• Working with Waste Management and Parson's Electric on power needs for their <br />service upgrade. <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />162 <br />
