Request for Action <br />To <br />Item Number <br />Mayor and City Council <br />4.5 <br />Agenda Section <br />Meeting Date <br />Prepared by <br />Consent <br />October 17, 2022 <br />Justin Femrite, P.E., Public Works Director <br />Item Description <br />Reviewed by <br />County Road 33 Cost Participation Agreement with <br />Cal Portner, City Administrator <br />Sherburne County <br />Reviewed by <br />Action Requested <br />Approve, by motion, cost participation agreement with Sherburne County for design modifications on CSAH 33. <br />Background/Discussion <br />As discussed during the preliminary design process for the CSAH 33 Improvements, the city asked Sherburne <br />County to add design elements in their roadway project that would more easily allow for the construction of a trail <br />along the corridor from TH 169 to CSAH 13 in the future. <br />The attached agreement provides for the additional design work needed to make this adjustment. <br />Financial Impact <br />The $136,771.00 represented in the agreement has been identified and include in previous estimates for making <br />accommodation with the current project to allow for a future trail.
