UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING <br />TO:FROM: <br />ERMU Commission Thomas Geiser – Operations Director <br />MEETING DATE: AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: <br />October 11, 20226.1g <br />SUBJECT: <br />Staff Update <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />None <br />DISCUSSION: <br /> Staff has been attending meetings with Sherburne County to plan for the County Road <br />44 project. <br /> Working on 2023 Budget items along with 2023 Fee Schedule. <br /> We are still having issues with the fuse pads we received which were incorrectly <br />assembled. The problem is that there are some loose parts, and the nuts and bolts are <br />deteriorating. Irby Utilities is helping to facilitate a resolution to this issue. The vendor <br />who sold the pads is currently fixing eight of the twelve we received and will take the <br />other four when those are returned. <br /> <br /> Attended a pre-construction meeting for the Pullar Prairie development on County Road <br />35. <br /> <br /> Attended a meeting for a planned expansion of the Furniture & Things Community <br />Event Center. <br /> <br /> Josh Shoutz and Alex Paschall joined 12 other Minnesota municipal utilities who went to <br />Florida for Mutual Aid after Hurricane Ian. They left here Wednesday, September 28 and <br />returned Friday, October 7. <br /> <br /> Working on an additional feeder from Station 14 bank 4 to Otsego for future support. <br />This project will extend into spring of 2023. <br /> <br /> Still attending weekly Highway 169 Redefine meetings.
